Private Diagnostic and Training Appliance
The KontextOS PDATA is an expandable, customer-controlled appliance for private diagnostic and training programs. It includes Intro to Applied AI and The Context Architect, combining a Context Readiness Diagnostic with the next step of deliberate context design, remediation, and governance.
Many AI initiatives begin with technology selection before the organization understands whether its context, responsibilities, knowledge, workflows, and governance can support useful results.

Even when risks are recognized, organizations may lack an evidence trail, likely owner, verification criteria, or governed path to action.
1 · Define
The customer defines and approves the engagement, participant cohort, real organizational roles, business-unit structure, evidence permissions, and privacy conditions, with help from a separately engaged implementation partner if requested.
2 · Learn and respond
Intro to Applied AI teaches the contextual method while participants provide structured, role-aware responses about authorized real organizational conditions. The Context Architect then helps the organization translate that understanding into context architecture, governance, workflows, and remediation.
3 · Analyze
KontextOS examines prevalence, divergence, materiality, evidence quality, and privacy-qualified group comparisons without treating every response as a confirmed finding.
4 · Review
Human reviewers evaluate candidate findings, approve or reject remediation proposals, assign likely owners, and confirm what evidence supports action.
5 · Act
The organization can retain approved outputs, pursue partner-led remediation, add an approved course package when that capability becomes available, remove the appliance when authorized, or continue with the Persistent KontextOS License.
PDATA is intentionally narrower than Persistent KontextOS, but it is not intended to remain limited to one course forever.
Approved courses may teach participants, collect authorized organizational context, support a diagnostic, or combine training and discovery in one experience.
The AI Operating Layer: Building KontextOS for the Enterprise is planned for a future PDATA update. The planned course lifecycle will use signed, schema-controlled packages to add approved courses or apply compatible revisions without replacing the customer-controlled appliance or its retained runtime records.
The SCB is under active development for an imminent bounded pilot. It will let customers and partners create, preview, review, approve, validate, and package private courses inside a customer-controlled authoring environment. Its signed .kctx releases will use the same source-neutral PDATA course contract as approved KontextOS-authored releases.
Post-install course addition and revision are specified but not yet implemented. Current pilot commitments must be limited to the courses and versions included in the verified release.
The engagement is configured inside an environment approved by the customer, using customer-authorized infrastructure, access controls, and evidence.
The customer selects an appropriate compliant AI provider and model and ordinarily supplies the provider account, credentials, and usage charges.
Privacy and complementary-suppression rules can withhold group comparisons when the available response population is too small or could expose participants.
At the end of each engagement, the customer has defined retention, export, removal, or Persistent-license conversion options for its authorized artifacts. Closing an engagement does not imply that every future PDATA course must use the same scope or cohort.
The PDATA is not a network scanner, an autonomous compliance opinion, a universal readiness score, or a substitute for professional and organizational judgment.

PDATA software license
$495 per year with approved promotion
The initial pilot package covers one customer organization, one private appliance instance, Intro to Applied AI, The Context Architect, one defined diagnostic cohort, standard analysis and exports, and engagement-disposition rights. The AI Operating Layer is planned for a future PDATA update; the general post-install course lifecycle is not yet implemented.
Partner statement of work
Optional environment preparation, installation, configuration, AI setup, integrations, remediation, custom or facilitated training, and support depend on customer needs and the implementation partner's agreed scope. These services are distinct from approved courses delivered by the PDATA. The customer operates each cohort through the PDATA's self-service workflow.
Optional PDATA Authoring Package
The introductory package includes one PDATA license, one SCB author license, Intro to Applied AI, The Context Architect, one onboarding or configuration session, software updates, and normal support. The AI Operating Layer is planned for a future PDATA update. Cloud-model usage and separately scoped partner services are not included.
Availability and delivery status
The PDATA application and deployment package are now in early testing. KontextOS is preparing a limited number of bounded, partner-supported pilots using real organizational evidence. Each pilot will require a verified customer-controlled environment and written confirmation of the supported configuration, security conditions, responsibilities, success measures, and optional implementation-partner services before commitment.
Discuss a PDATA pilotThe Standalone Course Builder, now under active development for an imminent bounded pilot, provides the optional authoring path for additional approved PDATA courses. Its standard first-year license is $1,995 per end-user author for the first year, with an introductory price of $1,495 for the first year, and it renews at $199 per author per year after the first year. Persistent KontextOS remains the planned path for the full platform and ongoing governed operational context; its first-year license is $7,950 for the first year, renewing at $499 per year after the first year. It includes the complete course pathway, while The AI Operating Layer is also planned for a future PDATA update. A targeted $5,950 first-year competitive-conversion price may be authorized under definitive commercial terms, and implementation-partner services remain separate.
